How Does Paula Abdul Feel About New Judge
So how does Paula Abdul feel about the new American Idol female judge, Kara DioGuardi on American Idol? Is she jealous that the spotlight is no longer on her alone as the only female judge alongside Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson?
Apparently not, but I guess Paula Abdul is sure as hell not going to say she hates the idea altogether now is she?
Says Paula,“This is gonna be a good thing. I’m really thrilled! For me, I’m excited as can be. I think this time around, it’s gonna work adding a new judge. A lot of surprises are in store that are gonna make it more exciting to watch the show.”
Seem Kara DioGuardi has been friends with all the judges for awhile now, having worked on songs with several American Idol finalists, so she is no stranger at all.
“I’ve been talking about her for years,” says Paula, “I hope the audience gets excited and accepts it. Sometimes its been hard when we’ve had four judges in the past. They always wanted four judges since the beginning. It’ll be good to have two girls, and two guys. Kara’s like a sister to me,” finished Paula Abdul.

New American Idol Female Judge

Paula Abdul won't be the lone female judge on American Idol Season 8 anymore. Kara DioGuardi, a songwriter and producer has been named as the new judge who will join veterans Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson on the upcoming American Idol Season 8.
Kara DioGuardi is friends with all 3 judges and has written and produced some songs for American Idol finalists, so she is not a total stranger. She and Paula Abdul worked on producing the smash hit Spinning Around by Kylie Minogue and have been friends for years.
But keep your eyes peeled, if I were the producer of American Idol, I would definitely play up the rivalry card and even choreograph some bitching scenes among the two female judges just to get more viewership!

American Idol 8 Results Welcome
American Idol 8 Results is going to document all the contestants, performances, songs and weird happenings at the American Idol Season 8 due to happen at 2008/2009. I have no doubt that American Idol Season 8 will have its fair share of hysterics during preliminary auditions, violent reactions from dejected and deluded contestants and more Simon Cowell-isms.
Hopefully, Paula Abdul will do something to top her giving critiques for performances that have yet to take place. And Randy Jackson well, there's really nothing much to say about him. He's really got to bring something unique to the table, else he should be replaced by a new and more exciting judge. American Idol creator Simon Fuller has promised some big changes for American Idol Season 8 so hopefully it's as exciting as he makes them out to be.
As usual, there will be controversies surrounding the personal lives of American Idol 8 contestants, being the colourful bunch that they are...I have no doubt we will get the untalented ones who somehow mysteriously got chosen to go into the final 24, or the extremely creative and talented who got voted out prematurely, once again causing critics to point out (again) that American Idol is a popularity contest and not a singing talent contest.
Somehow I think the two criteria has to go hand in hand. If you are not popular, you're not going to sell records. I would go so far as to say that popularity is slightly second to talent. In any case, one thing's for sure, American Idol Season 8 is going to be a gulity pleasure to look forward to for many in 2009. It won't be long until American Idol Season 8 auditions begin.
